Calls for Application are now open for the following awards of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI):
Italian bilateral scientific cooperation award. The award, now in its eighth edition, is dedicated in alternate years to senior and junior researchers who have distinguished themselves abroad for high scientific merit. For this edition, the announcement is aimed at senior researchers. Applications will be examined by a Scientific Committee composed of representatives of the MAECI and MUR, the Presidents of the main public research institutions and the Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities (CRUI). “L’innovazione che parla italiano” Award. The eighth edition of the award is a recognition of the high innovative value of technological startups operating abroad and founded by Italian citizens. Applications will be examined by a Technical Committee coordinated by PNI Cube (an association that brings together Italian academic incubators and “business plan competitions”, created with the aim of stimulating the birth of startups and accompanying the market of new university high-knowledge entreprises). “Science, She Says!” Award. The third edition of the award will designate five young foreign researchers under 40 from five geographical areas (Africa and the Middle East; Asia and the Pacific; Europe; Central and South America; North America). The selection will be made on a geographical basis with the assistance of the Scientific and Space Attachés of the area.
